Assisting People with Multiple and Complex Needs

Aimed at front-line staff working in advice agencies, hostels, day centres, supported housing, floating support, street services, and other services working with homeless people, this course aims to improve the outcomes for people with multiple needs who access housing and support services.

Learning Outcomes

  • How needs can overlap and interact with each other
  • How to identify and build on the skills needed to assess need and risk and respond effectively

  • Tools and current working practices including implementing joint working, lead worker methods and case conferences
  • How to reflect on your own practice
