Estate Management: Good Practice

This in-house course uses maximum participation to actively consider different tools and strategies for effectively managing estates. It covers a wide range of working practices and concerns to help staff more effectively manage an estate.

  • Assessment and management of risks to own and others Health and Safety
  • Basics of inspecting properties and voids
  • Inspecting estates and involving customers and others
  • Defining roles, rights and responsibilities (tenants, local authorities, housing provider and others)
  • Working with partnership with customers, others and the wider community
  • Anti-social behaviour, substance misuse and domestic violence
  • Professional boundaries: child protection, data protection and confidentiality, recognising and working with vulnerable adults.
