    This specialist Shelter seminar will guide delegates on how to analyse and use housing caselaw appropriately to underpin homelessness applications, investigations, decisions and reviews.   3. Suitability of Accommodation

    This course will provide delegates with a better understanding of the suitability of accommodation which has become increasingly important following the Localism Act 2012 that has enabled LHAs to discharge into the private rented sector. The law in this area is constantly changing due to legislation, statutory instruments and an influx of cases including a Supreme Court case. This course will give advisers, both working for LHAs and otherwise, the confidence to decide whether accommodation being offered is suitable.
