Meet the trainer
Louella Crisfield has been a freelance trainer for Shelter since 2004. Lou currently works as a housing caseworker at Miles & Partners LLP in East London. Prior to that she worked for an East London Law Centre as a housing caseworker for 15 years and for Mind as a housing and welfare rights adviser for two years. Lou has over 20 years’ experience in the field of housing law.
Lou has a particular interest in homelessness, security of tenure, housing for young people and housing or public law remedies for people without recourse to public funds. She has produced a wide range of training materials and presented courses to all levels of delegates in her work with Shelter and her work in the Law Centre and currently at Miles & Partners.
